IVB - Vicentino´s of Brazil Institute began their activities in 12/03/07, with the Project of Digital Inclusion - PID, applying the courses of Windows, Word and Excel, with 15 groups of 10 students in a total of 150 active students studying the basic computer science, reaching children the starting from 11 years, adolescents, young and adult, of the State schools, employees of the company Vicentino´s of Brazil and their relatives, in the schedules in the morning, late and night.
The objective of IVB is to give opportunity the most lacking population of the society the access to the basic technology of the computer science.

To promote the social inclusion of populations excluded digitizing, using the technologies of the information as construction instrument and exercise of the citizenship. To include digitizing is not just to "alphabetize" the people in computer science, but also to improve the social pictures starting from the handling of the computers. Just not to teach them to use the computer, but to improve the conditions of life of a certain area or community. Through the democratization of the access and with help of the available technology they are looked for the integration among education, technology and citizenship, seeking to the social transformation.

IVB are the aware that in the present and in the future the ignorance on the part of the citizens of the use of the technological language of the computer science, creates a very big cultural abyss among the people, same living in the same atmosphere. Inside of little time a citizen that not to know the basic language of computer science, an "illiterate" will be considered.

On the 13/04/07 IVB began one more activity that is the Environmental Project. The students of PID accomplished the planting of trees in the own physical space of the Institute, being accompanying, longing for and taking care for the good development of the seedlings. Each group received the name of the seedling of the tree that planted. The objective of the environmental project, developed by IVB is to create in the children, youths and adults a love bond and respect for the ecological reservation, besides educating them for preservation of the environment, showing to the students and involved in the process the importance that the trees have inside of the ecosystem. The importance of the trees in the retention of the gas present carbon in the atmosphere. Being that one in the efficient ways of combat to the global heating, seeking today to the improvement in the quality of life of the population and other species existent.

Starting from the 2nd semester IVB will be implanting new projects in the education area as the: PDI - I Project of Industrial Drawing that it will be a course returned for the masculine public. PDD - I Project of Drawing and Decoration of Interiors that it will be a course returned for the feminine public.
Still in the 2nd semester the artistic and cultural area and also the sporting will be putting their projects in process.
